The Central Queensland Motor Sport Expo Association is commited to the training of young drivers on our roads. We are delighted to welcome Asia-Pacific’s leading driver education provider, Safe Drive Training, to Camco Group MotorMania CQ in 2010.
Free Youth Safe Driving Expos
This free road safety program combines a mixture of discussions, video presentations and demonstrations (including car maintenance and our Fatal Vision Beer Goggles) to enhance the participant’s proactive skills and road safety awareness.

Young Driver Safety Program
This special Defensive Driving Course targets the Real Fatal 4 factors in novice driver crashes: Overconfidence, Inexperience, Risk Taking and Peer Influence
SAFE DRIVE TEST DRIVE is a one-day driver education course which involves lectures, demonstrations, video presentations and in-car driving experiences all based on extensive research into young driver crashes.
Participants learn safe driving while they test drive a fleet of different cars. Unlike other driver training programs this course is based on best-practice methodology to reduce over-confidence and risk taking in participants by showing students the limits of their ability and the limits of a vehicle.
Attendance at the course is for all young drivers… especially those who think they are already good drivers. The course is not only about improving your driving, it is about learning how not to become part of someone else’s accident.

Safe Drive Training offers a range of driver education products and training programs to private participants, education institutions, multinational companies (with global Health and Safety policies), local industry, police and government departments.
Up to 8000 drivers complete Safe Drive Training programs annually across the Asia-Pacific region. SDT have trained over 60,000 drivers since 1996 (importantly more than 37,500 novice drivers have benefited from their safe driving programs).
Each Safe Drive Training instructor is highly qualified, accredited and an expert communicator who will not only make the training highly entertaining but ensure all participants learn at their own pace in complete safety.
